This month sees an eclectic mix of lengths and genres from slow burning, emotional stories like Lexus’s epic over-16-minute-long ad (#1), to bite-sized humorous ads from Snickers (#5 and #7), to gaming related ads which have gone mainstream like Pokemon (#2), Nintendo (#3) and Clash Royale (#9). All of which goes to show that there is not a single way, but many ways, to inspire an audience with online video. Brands that have a story to tell—whatever that story may be—will be able to find an audience for it on YouTube.
